MOE 2.0 is an enhanced version of the Muslim-Owned Establishment certification that promotes and recognizes businesses owned by individuals of the Islamic faith, ensuring compliance with Islamic principles.
Businesses with at least 51% ownership by Muslims, registered under ACRA, Valid NEA / SFA licence (required for F&B), can apply for the certification.
Businesses can register through the SMCCI portal or attend the launch event for more information on the registration process.
Businesses must provide proof of ownership, relevant legal documents, and details about their products or services.
The new logo will be provided to certified businesses starting in January 2025. Until then, a ‘sample’ logo may be used after the launch.
No, the certification is specifically for businesses with a minimum of 51% Muslim ownership.
The duration may vary based on the review process, but businesses will be notified about their certification status after all assessments are completed.
